This open front ruana jumper is crafted from a fine linen blend and knit in a textured stitch for a subtle rustic character. An ikat-inspired pattern – one of the season's signature codes – is hand-painted and embroidered with microsequins on top of the fabric, adding layers of dimension and complexity. Prints and patterns from this season's collection are inspired by designs traditional to Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and cultures throughout Asia. The interwoven global history of ikat techniques – from as early as the 10th century – holds cherished historical symbolism and varied origins across cultures in the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Latin America.
